Perm Classical School No. 2 signed a Cooperation Agreement with a school in Qingdao, China

On December 5, 2022 there took place an official ceremony of signing the  Agreement on Cooperation  between Perm City Classical School No 2  and the  Qingdao University Bilingual Experimental School (Shandong, China). 

School No 2 in Perm has long-term contacts with a number of educational institutions in the twinned city of Qingdao, including “Taihangshanlu”  Primary School and the Experimental Senior School of Qingdao. On-line classes in Chinese and regional studies workshops have become regular events. 

In 2022 the Qingdao University Bilingual Experimental School initiated cooperation with Perm School No2 in education, with the view of organizing online joint classes to study Russian and Chinese. 

At present over 600  people  study Chinese at school No2,   regular courses are also available for any residents  of Perm.  Expanding and strengthening the links, signing new agreements with the new partners, namely, with the Qingdao University Bilingual Experimental School will help increasing the level of Chinese and knowledge of Chinese culture with schoolchildren of School No 2, and will help their Chinese counterparts to reach new results in learning Russia and Russian culture. 

The online ceremony of signing the Agreement included a song in Chinese  and Wushu martial arts  performed  by the Perm schoolchildren, and modern dance and playing traditional Chinese musical instrument  performed by the Chinese children. 

For information:  Perm and Qingdao has been twinned cities since 2006.
